U Maung Hsit

It is with great sadness that the TMCC announces the passing of U Maung Hsit on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 around 11:45PM. Unfortunately, most of our church members will not be able to participate in the funeral and memorial service due to Covid-19 restrictions. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of U Maung Hsit to the family. Please contact Saya Solomon James for specific information on how. Good Friday Worship Service

We participated in a combined Good Friday service at the Vietnamese Church along with Korean, Vietnamese, Thai and Burmese congregations at the Young Nak Korean Presbyterian Church today. The sermon was by Pastor Minho Song, the senior pastor of the Young Nak Presbyterian Church. It was based on Luke 23:44-46. Around noon the sky turned dark and stayed that way until the middle of the afternoon. The sun stopped shining, and the curtain in the temple split down the middle. Jesus shouted, "Father, I put myself in your hands!" Then he died. Our pastor Solomon James and Ko Naung Naung after the service during fellowship hours. In the chapel after the service:
